Holistic Counseling, Trauma Therapy, EMDR, & Psychedelic Integration

Dedicated to Compassionate, Results-Oriented Therapy

Ilan Navah (he/him) is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and Registered Nurse who approaches therapy from a holistic, trauma-informed perspective. He believes healing begins with creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and accepted as their whole selves, while recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional, physical, relational, cultural, and spiritual well-being.

Ilan holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University and a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nursing from Cal Poly Humboldt. He is trained in EMDR and draws from integrative approaches including transpersonal psychology, archetypal exploration, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He weaves these perspectives together to help clients explore patterns, deepen self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with their inner resources. He also brings more than 10 years of experience in psychedelic integration work, supporting individuals in making meaning from transformative experiences and integrating those insights into everyday life.

Before becoming a counselor, Ilan spent 12 years as a nurse and EMT, working in emergency rooms and ambulances, hospice and palliative care, integrative and functional medicine, homeless shelters, and music festivals. He has also worked in global health settings in Ghana, Uganda, and the Northern Mariana Islands. These experiences have shaped his appreciation for the many paths people take through life and the importance of meeting each person with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their individual story.

Ilan enjoys working with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities. He views therapy as a collaborative process and sees himself as a fellow traveler alongside his clients, rather than an expert standing apart from them. He strives to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace, cultivate greater awareness, and move toward greater resilience, connection, and meaningful change.
